It feels like my heart got broken again.
I cried, watched gossip girl and ate junk food hoping it would get better.
It didn’t help.
Why you ask? Cause I didn’t break my own heart. I broke the heart of my first love. The man who saw me when I was a broken mess, when I was falling and not flying.
I broke The Lords heart. I cried uncontrollably for hours until he whispered a few words to me.
“my love I don’t remember what you did , I’ve always loved you. I always will, come home.”
Those simple words wrecked shop in my life, it was the moment I had to choose the “what now?”
I plugged in my head phones and picked sone Radom worship playlist and every song was about the lobe of Jesus and how I’m all he wants. It just reassured that I wasn’t crazy and He does love me this much.
It’s impossible to run away from this love and that alone captivates me and keeps me running, not from this Man but into his tangible, hole filling arms.
There are so many other people in the world who have never felt this love and intimacy we were created to have with God.
Of course I know how fun it is to kiss and go on dates and flirt with a boy,
I’m a 19 year old girl ha!
But the Lord wants to sweep you off your feet first. So many girls including myself have turned to boys, drugs, drinking and sex for the feeling we all crave. LOVE.
Love - noun
1. tender, passionate affection
2. strong personal liking
3. person toward whom love is felt
God is love. He has a love for you like no other person on the planet.
He knows you, and created you to be the apple of His eye.
